A week before Michael Jackson's arrival, many companies were contacted to transport the entourage. The company Ponto a Ponto Locadora de Veículos was selected for its experience, through Michael Jackson's personal security chief, who transmitted the requirements for the singer's arrival. On the day of arrival, the company had all the vehicles available at the point where the plane would land. Mr. Bill Bray, Michael Jackson, three children and the security guard chosen by the company got into the car driven by Marcelo José da Cunha. The driver was very grateful despite speaking little English. A few moments later, as they headed to the plane door, Michael approached, placing his hand on the shoulder of the “Driver of the Stars,” asking for a piece of paper. Marcelo quickly grabbed the first piece of paper he found. The pop star then asked for his full name, signed it, and handed it back. Along with the ribbon, he warmly thanked Marcelo for his services, who at the time did not know exactly what the ribbon was about. At home, with his family, he got a big surprise.
